PURPOSE

PEOPLE

The Seed Initiative is a social project initiative birthed by Irwin See, who is also the founder and principal tutor at Irwin’s Study. Irwin hopes to use this project to not just be a blessing to others, but also to journey and grow with others who have a similar calling to make positive changes in society.

TO BE A FAITHFUL STEWARD

Irwin believes that all the talent, favour and success he has experienced in his life and work are precious gifts to be stewarded diligently and to be used in service to others.

TO GROW LIKE-MINDED (& LIKE-HEARTED) ONES

In this journey of impacting our society, Irwin seeks to find people with a similar calling and passion so that our different strengths can be harnessed and our weaknesses can be complemented.

TO BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS

We are looking for people who passionately believe that our lives are to be lived as a blessing to others. It does not matter how big or small the blessing is; it is the heart of giving and the desire to bless others that is key.

PRINCIPLES

01

BIGGER THAN OURSELVES

It is all too easy to be caught in the daily grind of life and to be striving for our own ambitions and goals. But we soon discover that the deeper meaning of life is to be found outside of our own lives – when we realize that our lives are bigger than ourselves, that is when transcendent purpose is found.

02

GROW, GROW, GROW

In the journey of life, we are either growing or stagnating. And because growth is mostly invisible, it is usually neglected. But we must grow, or we die. And the most important growth is the growth of the inner life – the development of our character and the person that we become in the process.

03

FROM THE INSIDE OUT

When we seek to do good, we need to do it from the inside out. This means that if we are not growing healthily on the inside, our service may be carried out from a sense of duty or effort, which quickly leads to burnout and disillusionment. We need to be fed before we can feed others.

04

BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

We come to a place to realize that the blessings we receive in our lives are never just for ourselves. We are always blessed so that we can be a blessing to others. And the idea of paying it forward is a key principle that keeps us grateful, keeps us humble, and keeps us giving.
